“There is a point where in the mystery of existence contradictions meet; where movement is not all movement and stillness is not all stillness; where the idea and the form, the within and the without, are united; where infinite becomes finite, yet not.”
~ Rabindranath Tagore ~
We wanted to create an atmosphere of stillness and ambience on this cd, a quietness running throughout, a collection of tracks that expressed musically introspection without losing the SOUNDICIAN voice.
“In my ambience I want some adventure, some difference, but am still happy to listen to basically beautiful music…So again, an album of beauty, subtle complexity and that intriguing quality that makes an instrumental album draw you in and listen to it, rather than let it wash over you. Soundician continue to explore and grow into that ambient sphere of their own creation.”
Jeremy Keens – Ampersand Etcetera
“The album is an almost 40-minute trip of slightly darkening and contemplative soundscapes compositions. After all these years they make music their style is still quite hard to pinpoint, although one always recognises the glimpses of rough edges, minimalism and experimentalism.”
